If you could make Three changes to the Star Wars Saga to make it more coherant, better, campier, whatever....
These are the changes I would make:
1) Darth Maul would have been Sideous' only aprentice. No Dooku. He would have lasted through the first three movies, until being killed by Anakin who would take his place as the new Aprentice.
2) WOOKIES in Return of the Jedi. No Ewoks. They were originally supposed to be Wookies anyways but they were nervous about the costs of a hundred Wookie costumes. (Even RotS only used 15-20 Wookie suits and were replicated digitally).
3) Hmm... only one left... Jar Jar?... Greedo?... Sarlac pit???... I'm gonna go with...... An apparition of Ben appears at the end of Luke's bed... "Luke... STOP!!!

But ewoks don't bother me... probably because the first time I saw EP VI I was like 10 years old, and I loved those ewoks [img]redface.gif[/img] It's probably a generation thing [img]smile.gif[/img]
the first two are good. No Jar-Jar. No little kid in ep 1. No "comedy" in the prequels. No Hayden.
Lucas would not be allowed to direct or cast the prequels either.

The issue is the "Almighty Lucas" making shit up as he goes along.
"Yeah, I've got this sweeping epic... but it's all in my head.... yeah I think they should be um... brother and sister... yeah... what do you mean they've already kissed on screen??? Hmm... we can edit that out later in the re-release."
I'm sure he had Episode III figured out along time ago... but had to slice little chunks of it off and streeeeeeeeeeeetch it to make it into three movies instead of one or two. Episode I is 85% filler.

I really wonder if it's true that he had it all finished long ago...
I mean, just because there's a IV in front of the first movie doesn't necessarily mean it was all finished and the prequels and sequels finished in the 70's already.
